I recently tried a new white wine and loved it. Viña Esmeralda is made by Torres in the Upper Penedès area of Cataluyna. It is a very aromatic, crisp wine. I found that the natural flavors of the fruit to be dominant, which was very refreshing. Since it should be served chilled, it is a great choice for the summer. It pairs nicely with paella. And, the best part about it is that it is very reasonbly priced - only 7 euros at the grocery store. I am not sure where you can find it in the US, possibly at Central Market or a specialty wine store. If you don´t see it on the shelf, ask if they can get it for you.
